1. Define project appraisal? Discuss the project appraisal criteria to be considered before taking the decision.

3. What is Environmental Impact Assessment? How could you mitigate the environment deterioration created by a development project?
4. What are the various dimensions of resources? Discuss different types of resources.
5. Discuss the objectives of Nepal environmental policy and action plan for environment protection and sustainable development.
6. What are the different components of farming system? Briefly discuss the interrelationship between these components.
7. Discuss the following outcomes of economic analysis of an irrigation project.

a. Net present value = Rs.125 b. Benefit/cost ratio = 1.11
c. Internal rate of return = 18%

8. Discuss valuation technique for the non-traded goods and sources.
9. Show the interrelationship between overgrowing population and natural resources.
10. What are the legal provisions made by government in different acts related to agricultural resources management?
11. Illustrate the nutrient cycle in a typical hill farming system for sustainable agriculture Production.
12. All pollutions and resources depletion are the consequences of over population. Briefly discuss.
