Pele Leads Brazil for First World Cup Title

On 29th of June, 1958 Fifa World Cup took place between Brazil and Sweden. It took place in Rasunda Stadium, Solna (near Stockholm), Sweden. This was the day to determine the champion of the 1958 FIFA World Cup. On June 29, 1958, Brazil Brazil defeats host nation Sweden 5-2 to win its first World Cup.

The star of the tournament was an undersized midfielder named Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known the world over as Pele.  The youngest goalscorer was set by Pele (17 years) in this World Cup final. The 1958 final holds the record for most goals scored in a World Cup Final.
